Stained Glass Suncatcher Workshop
Join us at EventThem Studios in Medford MA for a fun and creative stained glass workshop where you’ll learn the basics of the Tiffany-style copper foil method! In this hands-on class, you’ll design and assemble your own unique stained glass suncatcher, exploring the beauty of color, light, and texture.Over three hours, you’ll learn essential techniques, including foiling, burnishing, fluxing, soldering, and applying patina. I’ll provide a variety of pre-cut glass pieces for you to choose from, allowing you to mix and match to create a truly one-of-a-kind piece. While we’ll follow the principles of physics and chemistry in this science-heavy craft, there will be no strict patterns—just space for play, creativity, and exploration. No prior experience is needed—just bring your curiosity and a willingness to experiment!
Safety Note: I provide all necessary safety gear, including masks, eyewear, heat-safe gloves, and finger covers. However, please wear close-toed shoes and cover your arms and legs for protection. No food or drinks are allowed in the workshop for safety reasons. Come ready to create, have fun, and take home a beautiful 6-8" stained glass suncatcher!
Tickets Ticket are $105 each * Workshop begins at 12pm but please arrive at least 15 minutes early. * Workshop ends around 3pm. * Limited Capacity.
